Engineer, founder, venture capitalist, board member, executive
- Functional role: Finance & SaaS Leadership
- Unfair Advantage: Strategically guide and execute a portfolio of companies.
For more than 20 years, Rahul worked with early-stage/venture-backed companies as either an engineer, founder, venture capitalist, board member or in executive management. At The Combine, the sum of this hard-to-find experience gives him the ability him to strategically guide and execute for its portfolio of companies.
Rahul’s expertise started with researching mechanical heart valves where he developed innovative protocols and published several papers during his undergraduate work. His focus with biotechnology ramped-up with a Silicon Valley startup with hands-on mechatronic design of automation genetics research equipment. After more than a decade as a Venture Capitalist, he most recently took an operational role as the CEO of a leading provider of environmental health inspection and permit software to government agencies.
Rahul holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a degree in Fluid Mechanics from the Von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics, and a master’s degree in Finance from Emory University.
